Working principle and applicable scope of piston pump

The piston pump draws and discharges the working medium (yellow) directly through the reciprocating movement of the plunger.

 

Piston pump includes valve pump and no valve pump two types. The valveless rotary plunger metering pump is widely used in the metering of high viscosity media such as syrup, chocolate and petroleum additives.

 

The piston pump head is simple in structure, economical and high in measurement accuracy. Horizontal automatic alignment between plunger and seal ensures less wear between them.

Pliston pump is widely used in petrochemical industry because of its simple structure and high temperature and pressure resistance. Plunger material has stainless steel, oxide ceramics, oxide ceramics have corrosion and hardness of high wear resistance.
